My case involved working with Lauren from another state and she proved to be the best fit I could have asked for. Lauren helped me get a fair PI settlement

Lauren Cohen contacted me numerous times about her actions regarding a pit bull bite i received. Lauren is effective because she combines compassion with power. Her knowledge of what to do and ability to strategize meant that she did not rush through my case for her easy profit. In a different class

Referred by a friend to Donald Shapiro, the firm took on my case. Mathew Basinger was assigned the case. Early we had some road blocks, and Mathew made some changes to keep the suit alive. I've never been involved in a lawsuit, but he made things very easy to deal with. This malpractice suit involved a death, the care Mathew took helped us move through the process. In the end despite some obstacles Mathew secured a settlement me and my family are content with.

Life Saving Attorney

My husband had a massive stroke at the age of 63 which was mis-diagnosed as a brain tumor. He could no longer work, we lost our home and we had to quickly downgrade into a smaller space. Donald Shapiro took our case and won a settlement for us which provided funds for my husband's care (he lived another fourteen years). I was able to buy a larger house, care for him while teaching at home for nine years and then pay for his last five years of care in a nursing facility. At eighty, i am still teaching and have the security that wen i do decide to retire, the funds are there for me so that i will not be a financial burden on any of our six children. Proficient, highly skillful legal practitioner

Matt Basinger, Esq. is adept at all matters pertaining to his field. He expeditiously secured a monetary settlement for a car accident case that far exceeded my expectations. Always professional yet never aloof, Matt Basinger is quite polite and always a gentleman. Matthew Basinger - the lawyer who gave us confidence

It is hard not to rate Matt excellent after being rewarded with a life changing settlement in a medical malpractice case. Even after the first interview with Matt regarding our case, I and my wife felt that all skepticism vanished and were inspired with confidence and hope. for the duration of the process we were regularly informed and assured that the case was moving in the right direction and we never felt neglected or in some way loosing our hope to find justice. Confusing law suit, lots of twists and turns, with court interference even, discouraging. What had seemed a possibility wound up slowly diminishing over time, but Matthew stayed alert and on top of each push back seizing the final opportunity for success. Quite impressive and i sure am grateful.

Matthew Basinger/Shapiro Ltd.

Matt was recommended to us at a time when we didn't know where to turn to for a specialty/personal injury lawyer. Our daughter had been in an apartment fire and at the time, we had hopes she would recover but sadly, did not. Not only did Matt drive five hours to meet with us but he was with us when we found out our precious child was not going to make a full recovery and was, in fact, declining rapidly due to smoke inhalation damaging her brain. 
He and his firm took the time to work with us and the lawyers for two other families with daughters involved in the same fire, kept us fully apprised of what was going on each step of the way and fought for a fair settlement. He didn't give up! 
He has since kept in touch with us over the years when any other law firm may have closed the case on its clients, never to be in touch again. 
One thing about Matt - he cares, not just about the person he represents but about the family members who are left behind to grieve the loss of their loved one. This makes him one of the best people to handle a case when a lawsuit is necessary. 
I feel that God, in His infinite wisdom, led us to Matt, knowing as a sincere Christian, Matt would do whatever was needed for us. God may have felt it necessary to take our child Home to be with Him, but he sent us Matt to help make that loss easier to bear.
